WRAP-UP ON FULL-LENGTH PLAYS: HUMANS REMAIN will be produced by Stepping Stone Theatre Company in New York in 2008 as the winner of the New Millennium competition. Previously, HUMANS REMAIN was one of eight plays chosen from almost 1,000 internationally for the Lark Theatre's 2003 playwrights week residency in New York and was one of six finalists in Reverie Theatre;s 2006 Next Generation competition. HUMANS REMAIN received the Joyce Whitley Award and was read at Karamu House in Cleveland. HARMONY premiered at Alleyway Theatre in Buffalo as winner of their Maxim Mazumdar International Competition. EMBRACING THE UNDERTOAD, produced in New York in 2005, was a 2004 Jane Chambers Award finalist. A one-act version of this play premiered at Bailiwick Rep. in Chicago as winner of the Lesbian Theatre International Competition. HUMANS REMAIN and LOLA AND THE PLANET OF GLORIOUS DIVERSITY are Moondance International Film Festival finalists. LOLA was an O'Neill finalist. PLAY NICE! was chosen for a residency at the Cleveland Public Theatre and has been optioned by an agent in Bulgaria.
LISTEN! THE RIVER and THE LITTLE STORE, both performance monologues, are 2006 Moondance winners.
