WRAP-UP ON FULL-LENGTH PLAYS: HUMANS REMAIN won the 2007 New Millennium competition. Previously, HUMANS REMAIN was one of eight plays chosen from almost 1,000 internationally for the Lark Theatre's 2003 playwrights week residency in New York and was one of six finalists in Reverie Theatre;s 2006 Next Generation competition. HUMANS REMAIN received the Joyce Whitley Award and was read at Karamu House in Cleveland. HARMONY premiered at Alleyway Theatre in Buffalo as winner of their Maxim Mazumdar International Competition. EMBRACING THE UNDERTOAD, produced in New York in 2005, was a 2004 Jane Chambers Award finalist. A one-act version of this play premiered at Bailiwick Rep. in Chicago as winner of the Lesbian Theatre International Competition. HUMANS REMAIN and LOLA AND THE PLANET OF GLORIOUS DIVERSITY are Moondance International Film Festival finalists. LOLA was an O'Neill finalist. PLAY NICE! was chosen for a residency at the Cleveland Public Theatre and has been optioned by an agent in Bulgaria. SUKI LIVINGSTON OPENS LIKE A PARACHUTE and THE POWER OF BIRDS are brand new and available for world premieres. THE POWER OF BIRDS has received a public reading with 3Graces in NYC and residencies at the Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum in California and The Phoenix Theatre in Arizona in 2009.
